Fr. Aaron here, I have been blessed to be assigned to Immaculate Conception as your new Associate Pastor. In an effort to get to know all of you it seems that you may want to know a little bit about who I am. So here it goes. I am 46 years old and was raised in St. Clair Shores and owned a home in Macomb Township before entering the Seminary to study for the Archdiocese of Detroit. I have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Wayne State and a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan. After graduating from Wayne State in 1985 I started working for Chrysler of that same year. Although I loved my job at Chrysler, in 1997 I began to feel a calling to the priesthood after much prayer I took a leave of absence from Chrysler to begin seminary studies. And to make a long story short I was ordained in 2004, my first two assignments have been in White Lake and then Monroe. Although I may be considered a late vocation, since I really didn’t see this calling coming, I am so grateful for the gift of the priesthood. Many of you may also know that I had a kidney transplant on August 15, 2007 due to a hereditary kidney affliction. Yet God has given me a new lease on life thanks to my Aunt Edie who donated one of her kidneys to me in which I am eternally thankful. Thus, with my new kidney doing well so far, I am truly looking forward to serving the good people of this parish community to the best of my ability. In addition I must give credit for my calling to our Blessed Mother Mary who took me under her wing to humbly serve her Son, our Lord Jesus for the greater glory of God, in which I feel profoundly fortunate beyond words. So I am looking forward to getting to know all of you during our time together in a common desire to grow closer to Christ our Lord.

My name is Brandy Wambold. I am a native to Lapeer, having grown up in Metamora. My husband, Rob, and I reside in North Branch with our two sons, Carter and Spencer. After graduating from Lapeer West High School, I ventured off to the beautiful city of East Lansing. I graduated from Michigan State University with a business degree and soon entered the work force. It didn't take me long before I knew that I was not following the path that suited me best. That's when I decided to persue an education degree at the University of Michigan-Flint . Never mind you, I had been drilled to hate maize and blue for many years! I instantly loved my new school. I graduated in 2006. I have a current secondary education certificate with focus in history and science. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing outdoors with them. We love to spend time at our cottage in Port Austin as well discovering new places to visit in our beautiful state of Michigan.
